A mixture of white seeded flour/wholemeal flour/salt/yeast/butter/sugar/milk/water and voila!   It's official - store bought now tastes like styrofoam.  Or cardboard. 

Spent most of the morning sorting through photos, have gotten a few uploaded here and I'll finish the 'sorting' tomorrow and get the lot on to Flickr.  I tend to go a bit nuts clicking and always end up deleting as many as I keep.  I would rather delete than to edit in any way, I will adjust a little here or there if absolutely necessary, but I'd rather not.  I do, however, like to totally edit a few here and there - changing saturation or adding an effect or two and keep those in an 'edits' folder.

The afternoon was spent making bread and rolls, I'm really getting into this whole bread making thing and enjoy it immensely.  I definitely owe my new found interest in dough to the purchase of a Panasonic bread maker.  I bought it for homemade bread without the 'mess'.  It did exactly that and that first loaf was wonderful.  Then I caught the bug, must have been that freshly baked bread aroma :-)   I still use the bread maker - sometimes for a loaf from start to finish - but more often than not, now I mainly use it to just make the dough which I then knead, shape, rise, glaze and bake.  And now that I'm quite comfortable doing that, I feel just about ready to do one completely from scratch.  I don't know why, but it is honestly such a satisfying thing to do, and like I said before - that aroma!  There's just nothing like it!

And evening . . . as I finish this I'm watching Emmerdale - Jimmy and Kelly's wedding, or not.  Yet another 'secret' ruins yet another 'relationship' - at least atm.  The show's not quite over yet, lol.
