An absolutely lovely Bank Holiday was had by yours truly and BH :-)
In the morning we roamed over to Burgh Castle for a nice long walk, having a look at the church (yes, and cemetery!) and then to the ruins. Then we wandered along the water for a bit and stopped at the Fishermans Bar for some refreshment before heading back home. Sun was up and hardly a cloud in the sky, temps were up there too, although I always wish it was hotter, lol. It was almost one o'clock when we got in and BH made breakfast for lunch :-) I adore breakfast (a full English) for lunch as I can't eat a lot first thing in the morning so it was a real treat.
After the feast and getting the washing up done, which I don't mind when the food tastes soooo good, we headed out again this time to the Yarmouth seafront to play spectators to the holiday makers. I'm an avid people watcher, and there's no better place than a seafront on a Bank Holiday, anywhere I suppose. We walked down one side of the seafront and then up the other, popping in here and there to have a look or take a photo.
After returning home again we had a light tea, a coffee for me and a cuppa for BH and then spent some time getting all of the photos off-loaded to our respective computers. I then got through the days newspaper while BH started on sorting through his pics, I'll leave mine for another day. A double dose of Corrie, made up a fresh loaf of bread, a bit more reading and then off to bed :-)
Today it was beautiful out again and BH is off this week so we managed to catch up on the "to-do" list in the garden and then called it a day about 2pm. Lazing about the rest of the afternoon and I've spent some more time on the new site. It's coming along rather well, and I still can't praise RapidWeaver enough. Tomorrow I'm hoping to spend the better part of the day tidying up some loose ends on site design and getting my webspace in order.
Thursday is a hair appointment and off to Norwich and then, hopefully Friday will be another day out before BH returns to work and I have to "get back to the grind" on Saturday.
Hope everyone enjoyed their Bank Holiday, got out in that sunshine and warm air - who knows (certainly not the weatherpeople, lol) how long it will last!
